Ingredients:
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon cilantro
Procedure:

1. In a small pan, add oil, coriander, cumin, turmeric, cayenne, garam masala and sweet paprika. Cook for 3 minutes.

2.  Whisk spices into plain yogurt. Add lemon juice, garlic, salt and minced ginger.

3.  Cut deep slashes into the whole chicken. Coat with marinade.  Cover and chill for 6 hours.

4.  Preheat the griller in medium high heat, and lightly oil the grate.

5. Grill chicken until no longer pink and juices run clear. Garnish with cilantro and lemon wedges.
