• 500g SM Bonus Beef Brisket
  • 3 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 cup wine
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic cloves
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • ¼ sliced onions
  • 1 teaspoon parsley

1. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne. Season beef brisket on all side with the salt mixture. 

2. Pre heat oven to 300°F.

3. Place beef brisket in a shallow baking dish. Add red wine, 2cups water, cloves, garlic and bay leaves. Scatter sliced onions over beef brisket. Cover with foil and bake for 3 hours. Set aside.

4. In a large skillet, add olive oil, sliced onions and remaining salt mixture. Cook for 20 minutes until onions caramelized.

5. Slice beef across the grain into 1/4-inch slices and cover with caramelized onions. Garnish with parsley.
